I absolutely love dogs, they have been a huge part of my life since I can remember and so, in 2020 I brought home Baloo the Chow Chow.

Baloo has struggled with allergies and skin complaints from very early on which has included: hot spots, itching, ear infections, hair loss and constant irritation. We’ve had countless vet trips, pricey vet bills & food elimination diets with still no luck, alongside this we have had numerous medication recommendations such as steroids and apoquel to help him. This wasn’t an option for me as I was aware of the long term health risks of these medications and I always wanted the best, healthiest treatment for Baloo, as we all do for our dogs.

Following the difficulties of Baloo’s allergies…

…I wanted to try natural dog friendly remedies on him to find out how well they work. I have always been a great lover of natural remedies as an alternative to medication where possible and believed this could really help him. I began using the ingredients to treat his hot spots and bathe his itchy skin & paws; I was so pleased to see results that I had hoped for, as the products did their work. He became less itchy from the environmental allergies, calmer and less irritable, he was overall a happier pup!

After 5 years in the skin care industry working with natural brands, I made the decision to change my career to dog grooming. Since working in this industry it became clear to me just how common these skin issues are in dogs and how many other dog owners struggle to find high quality, natural products to help with these issues. I was also shocked at the amount of chemicals used in dog products and the negative effects they can have on your dog’s skin. Using my natural skin care expertise and first hand experience of skin complaints in dogs, I was determined to combine my knowledge to create products that can benefit and aid dogs with their skin problems naturally and healthfully.
